What would be the best way to study for the real estate exam? Should I take an online course or look for a school? If a school or class then what would you recommend, and are there any books that I should read or buy.

Thanks a bunch. Dmitiriy

i would recommend online, just for the reason that you can do it on your own time and can do it from home.

You would be the best person to answer that question about yourself.

As agentca stated, with an online course you can do it when you want and from home. If you are disciplined and self starting this will work. However, it doesn't provide the interaction with instructors or with other students.

The online course is probably lower cost than one with an instructor, also.

I took a live course and found it to be very good (although I had one of the areas premiere instructors). He was able to provide more depth and insight into the various subjects than an online course would, and incouraged class participation and interaction. We also were able to get in groups during class and discuss some of the various exercises.

An online course, again, you can go at your own pace and will probably cost less. However, one caution, their material might not be the most current (our instructor provided the most current forms that had just been changed as well as other more current information that had changed since the most recent text edition (less than 9 months old).

A live class, a set pace and probably longer to complete and most likely will cost more. However, as stated, based upon my experience, more current, more in depth and more interactive.

Class Room 100% if possible. The agents that have parked their license under me who had class room training needed far less training. The instructor's will give you hints and system's that are worth there weight in gold. You can do great either way, but I'd go let my butt fall asleep for a couple of weeks. Just so you know, I'm not a know it all, but have been in this 13 years and around my father in real estate over 30 Years. Damn I'm old. Best of luck. Hand out them cards!
