I am working with a broker that discourages placing your photo on business cards. I disagree and will be doing so. Just out of curiosity, what are some of you doing? Would you use your photo? If not, then why not? Thanks!!!

This subject has been debated too many times. Unless it's an office policy NOT to use, but you want to, try it. If you never try, you never know. Or better yet, business cards are cheap. Make some that has, some that doesnt.

If you ask me, I have mine. The only reason is because I have surveyed my friends and clients. They all prefer that I have mine on. My business model also encourages that I do. So it fits naturally.

I'm not sure if I understood your question about "Would you use your photo?" Are you asking if you should or if you would use someone else's photo???

^^^OOO, Fatmaxx, I like the idea of using someone ELSE's photo. I would like to look like Sandra Bullock. I think I'll use HER picture on my card...hee hee

I would agree with using a professional looking current nice photo of you. People remember you that way.

If everyone is doing it, there must be a reason for it. Also, if your clients see photos on everyone's site but yours, they may have some not so positive thoughts. Use professional quality photos to convey your image.

I agree with fatmax, this has been debated to death. I say if you want to use it, use it. If you don't, don't.

Yes, use it unless your real real pretty. If you are, the wives of the transaction are gonna veto you if they're jealous. If you look like a piece of crap...by all means put it on there. Maybe the clients will feel sorry for you and give you a shot. Some of the hottest agents I know are also on the bottom of the leader board every month with great effort. I know I'll get blasted for this but I really could care less. I'm right.
