I was wondering if anyone used a virtual service to answer their office phone and tranfer calls to different agents cell phones or such? I just tried this evoicereceptionist and they were terrible that I cancelled within an hour of trying them. I guess this is directed at you small office brokers where you don't have many agents and might not have a secretary.

Hey ColoBroker--we're small and I'm our only gatekeeper but also the one in the field every day, so this interests me greatly!

I have all office lines ring to my cell when out of the office but I hate taking too many calls when I'm with clients and also hate sending them all to VM, too.

Was your "one-hour wonder" an in-country service? Was it a human or some kind of recording? Do you pay them by call volume or a set/flat fee?

Our only foray into virtual help thus far is virtual assistant out west that we found through AR for lead administration and data entry whom we only pay by work volume, which is awesome!

I tried evoicereceptionist. I didn''t like that you couldn't just forward a call and have it go directly to another phone line. I wanted it to just call my broker associate and if he didn't answer his cell phone voice mail would pick up. Also as I was setting up there was an error. I called and talked to a guy named dhlsldjf shdkfsd from somewhere over the western horizon. He said I couldn't record my own message, but I would have to e-mail what I wanted it to say to an e-mail address. Which happened to be a onebox.com address. They are another virtual phone company. That was when I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm now trying a new service recommended by ellen45 in the REO section. PM her for the info. But then another post said ringcentral.com. Which I think might be even better. I'll probably try it in awhile.
