Moderators have the ability to post announcements, edit and remove messages, and are notified by email each time someone posts to their forum.


Part of the moderators duties is to help encourage discussion. Moderators may be removed if they don't actively attempt to do that. There are no hard and fast rules, but if a moderator doesn't post a message for two months - they probably have forgotten they are a moderator and may be removed without notice.

What are the qualifications you're looking for as a moderator?

I appreciate your interest in helping moderate the forums. We generally want our Moderators to have been active in the forum for at least a few months before becoming a moderator and you are still fairly new. If you are still interested in a few months please let me know then.

I notice that you do not have any info about yourself in your profile. Moderators can't be anonymous - at least not to me

I understand that I am new to this specific forum, but I have been (and currently am) a moderator for a multitude of other bulletin board systems.

Hey I am interested since I find this forum very informative..

I would like to draw your attention to the following paragraph in the forum rules....

"Posting single sentence replies to multiple posts is not allowed and those doing so will have their posts removed and may have their access blocked at the discretion of the moderators and administration. The same applies to short frequent posts made for the obvious reason of promoting the links in the post or signature."

... Since all of your posts are as describes and there are now 2 of you promoting the same website, I don't think your membership here is on firm ground...
