I'm a soon to be newbie. I passed all of my courses and now I am justing waiting on RECO to give the official go ahead.

I've already had multiple people ask me "How much did that house sell for?". They want me to look up the closing price of a house they were interested in. I'm 99% sure that giving out info such as this is against the privacy act. However, can I tell them that it sold for 97% of asking price..or something along those lines?

I found out the answer to my own question. Apparently any info listed in MLS is fair to use and disperse.

If title has not yet changed you are not allowed to disclose the terms of the sale till then. You need written consent of both the buyer and seller, regardless of who was the owner is.
