I have a basic intro to HTML tutorial. If you have a website, regardless of whether you are the webmaster or not. (If you are the webmaster you probably already know this.) At any rate, the tutorial is here: HTML Tutorial

Unless you are really interested in making and designing your own web pages, I would really recommend that you just use a WYSIWYG editor for all your webpage needs. They really provide all of the necessities one needs for making a nice webpage without having to go through the hassle of learning how to use HTML. If you did want to learn HTML though, there really are tons of tutorials out there like someone has already stated. Heck, that's how I got my start .

One way to setup a cheap website is to use a blogging software and a nice template... there are Real Estate themes as well.
I've actually blogged on how to setup an Agent website for $5.50/month which includes the cost of the domain name and I believe about 120gigs space.
One reason I like blogging software is because it generates good HTML, you don't need any coding experience, and you can set it up in 5 minutes.
I would advice against getting one of the free blogging accounts because it is less professional than having your own domain name.
What I also like about using blogs for websites is that you can post articles at will to your site, which can be of great value for customers.
For example, post on how the Closing process works in your local area and send the link or article to FSBOs or try to attract FSBOs to it. They love the information, and in the article you can sell them on calling you if they can't sell to evaluate why it did not sell.
Articles adds value, but if you need to write the HTML to it every time, you will lose interest quickly.
I cannot post a link to my blog post, but you can look into blogging for it.
