I seem to get a VM change every couple of months. And sometimes I get orders from 3 different VMs all in the same month. It's hard to figure it out. I called this week because I hadn't received an order in 6 weeks. I was told I had a new VM again. I emailed him, then he sent me 2 orders, but out of my service area. He apologized and said "he'll get his new assignment figured out" In the meantime, no more orders in my service area this month... grrrrr

I have a new VM also this month. She challenged everything about the bpo. She asked for the adjustments to be reviewed and challenged that the value I came up with and stated that it was "higher than the last sold comp..please re-evaluate your value in light of this".... Oh well...

Theresa loves to hear herself talk. She "knows" what QC wants and she will badger you until you change your value. I had 3 voicemails from her. She dared to suggest that I didn't know my market. Theresa needs to go. I think I've cycled through most, if not all of the AMs at IAS. She is by far over the top and I though Tanya was bad. LOL

Steve is very laid back. Of course, compared to Theresa, anyone would be, but he really is very nice and laid back. Works from home...

Seems like alot of them work from home. Anyone know if Pam Carlson is still there? She was my 1st VM but haven't heard from her in a long time. I liked working with her. I also liked Linda Cosby and Debra Fitzgerald. Where did they all go???

I get a few orders from Linda every now and then- but Tanya is who most of my work comes from. I like her- I rarely have a QC problem with her.

I do BPOs regularly for 5 or 6 companies, but what I like best about IAS is that it is the one where I most feel that the VM is reading and thinking about the BPO and valuing the property, rather than just seeing whether or not the comps fall within a set of pre-determined guidelines, etc, etc. I hope that this is because they are serious about actually getting properties sold when they (we?) wind up with the listing. (Not that I've seen a listing yet myself, but then I've only been with them for a couple of months and our foreclosure cycle in CA is at least 4.)

I have received several listings from them in last 4 months, many of which have sold. As a side note, the local paper showed that pendings in our area went from 150 in Janaury to 750 in February---mostly REO's of course but good news for us brokers/agents nonetheless...
