I cannot crack into this company. Anyone doing work for them. From what I understand they are one of the largest companies in the southeast. I had an REO with a private bank. It got transfer to IAS and I was locked out. I need to crack IAS anyone have any strategies......... I am approved by them just have not received any assignments. I have been signed up for over 60 days...

I know a few agents like that with them. They get bpos but no listings. Im guessing they have a certain amount of agents per area. If one of them messes up, you might get a chance.

It is my understanding that they are very loyal to their existing agents. Unless someone messes up or their volume increases in your area, it may take a while. 60 days is really not very long to wait. Sometimes you won't get an order for many months after you sign up.

I second OHAgent. There is an REO agent in my office that has them locked up! He has been working with them for over 10 years, very loyal. I am approved by them to, but will never get anything from them as long I am in the same office as the agent that has them locked up.

Update 6/18/2008: I cracked the shell today! Yea!, got two orders from them and not second opinion ones, possible listing ones. Whoo Hoo!

I've done like 70 bpo's since June, but haven't received any listings. They don't really have much activity in my area on the reo side according to their website. Let's hope they live up to their word when they say they will hand out the listings on the bpo's you previously did.

Anyone receive any listings from IAS and use the REOTRANS NETWORK? I have a listing with them and received an offer this evening. I went to input it in the REOTRANS system and well... to make a long story short there was some information that I did not have and had to input same phone numbers. Also the work sheet they wanted me to include with the offer was prefilled when I inputed the offer form. I am going to call them tomorrow morning and see what steps I need to take. I am new to that system and am feeling my way around.

THe site is a bit confusing at first. Make sure you review tasks and all associated messages to the task. Make sure you mark them READ when completed. The email system worrks well on there and I have had quick replies from them.

I have done probably 50-60 BPOs from them since December and was just assigned my first listing. The one I was assigned will be managed through REOTrans, which is not the case with all of their properties. The ones listed for sale on the IAS website are not the ones that go through REOTrans I THINK, so they may have more listings in your area than you think. I really like working with them- very accessible.

Looks like they use four different brokers in my area. I've done BPOs for them recently, but no listings...yet.

I've been doing BPOs sporadically for IAS over 18 months. I completed my first REO transaction with them in January. I haven't received any new assignments just BPO requests since then.

IAS states that the Broker who completes the "1st" BPO will get the listing, if it becomes an asset of theirs. Alot of the BPOs they assign, may be a 2nd or occassionally, it may even be a 3rd request. I found that about 1/2 of mine are 1st requests. I also noticed that just last month, alot of them got NODs filed and these were on BPOs that were completed around Sept/Oct. I will be keeping an eye on them to see IF they become an REO and IF I get the assignment on the ones that I did the 1st BPO.

I also notice that they move the Valuation Mgrs around alot. Every time I get real comfortable with someone, I get assigned a new one. When I get a new one, my orders drop off BIG time! Oh well... keeps it all interesting.... I guess??

None of mine have ever been designated as first or second opinion, that I have noticed. I have noticed only 2 properties that I have done BPOs on come up listed by someone else, and the listing I got I had never done a BPO on. I have a feeling I am in the midst of a VM change because I have only had 2 orders from them this week which is ususual. How often do they rotate? Anyone have an idea?

I have been cross-referencing the NOD/NOT lists weekly with my lists of completed reports so I can keep track of what they are doing.
