When designing a postcard to send out to your market, I've noticed that a lot of agents have different logos, credential icons and identification tags on their cards. Not really sure what the exact titles are of these icons but wanted to ask, are these required when soliciting homes or is it just a preference of these realtors? I've also noticed text referring to the fact that the card is not intended to be solicitation if someone is represented by another agent. Again, is this required on designs?

Laws in each state may vary. In California there are no requirements to have any logos or anything like that on your card. The reason people put "this card is not meant as a solicitation if your house is currently listed" is to comply with the code of ethics of NAR that states that you can't solicit someone else's client

Icons on the cards generally represent designations that the agents have earned/paid for. You cannot use them unless you have also earned/paid for them...other icons such as MLS, the REALTOR "R", and the equal housing logo are optional (but in my opinion, not bad ideas). I'd ask your broker to clarify for you what their company policy is regarding those on postcards.

The non-solicitation notice is most definitely NOT required to be on your postcards - but you do have to keep records and be able to prove that you're not targeting homes that are already listed - but rather are doing shotgun mailings to the "general area". Some people feel that having the non-solicitation notice helps to prove that you weren't targeting...but ultimately it comes down to whether or not you can prove it (it is possible to put that message on postcards and still target listed properties, right?) to the grievance panel if you get called on it.
