I have a question for all of the working parents in the Real Estate Business. Right now, I am still taking my pre-licensing courses but I am trying to plan ahead as much as possible for when I do get my license and start as a Full-Time Agent. My question is this: Do you find it difficult to still have enough time to spend with your children while running a successfull Real Estate Business? I have two children, one in High School and one in Elementary School who have been used to me working Full-Time for the past year but the job I currently have is not that demanding of my time outside of the office. How do you manage the kids & this field? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Cindy,

I don't know what your employment has been but I would assume it required a regular work schedule with defined working hours. In real estate you will be able to set your own hours which should give you the flexability to still be a good parent. It will require to make some choices between what the the children need/want and what your real estate business demands. The success of balancing priorities will be up to you!

you can be home more than ever before and run your appointments at the times agreed by you and your clients.

the hours can be long especially in the beginning or depending on how competitive you want to be.

your paychecks are a direct reflection of the hard work that you put in and your level of effeciency.
