I want to switch brokers and make much more money. My current listings are pending so that can't be taken from me right? I have an offer out now that is being negotiated, can I switch the page where is has my information and take it with me? How much notice should you give? We have never filled out an IC agreement as my current broker is very scatterbrained.....
In the absence of an IC or office policy, the broker can pretty much do what he wants to, like just pay 1/2 of your agreed to commission, or NOTHING.
To make sure, I'd close them first and than move on.
