Is anyone willing to share tips on Getting Started in the REO business (getting listings)? \:\)

p.s.
I did a search and entered the key words/phrases that I thought would pull up info and I didn't find what I was looking for.

You must have searched "Free tips on REO's". No free lunch here. I was chewed out about 5-10 times when I first came on and now after working as hard as I have to find out how to get business I understand why I was yelled at.

Try reading every post in this forum. Once you've done that, you should have a pretty good idea of what to do to get started. If you aren't willing to do the research and legwork, REOs may not be for you. There is a lot of work that comes with REO listings. They are not as easy as many agents think. Good luck.

I'll sell you my 'inside' list for $10,000, or you can struggle for the next 6-12 months like everyone else .........

The real go getters work 12-15 hours per day for a year before they get an REO, gee, that $10,000 is sounding pretty cheap now, maybe I should raise my price March 1st ....... HA HA

10,000 is cheap for the hours I have put in the past 2 years,I probably would have paid that too! but now its nice to know that I have worked for every client and listing I have!!It all pays off in the end.And SLO I thank you for all your advise just last week I have started weeding out the "mills".Too many listing to deal with them!
