I am going with Sprint - for their employee referal deals.

Cant decide between the Blackberry Pearl, Moto Q 9c or Centro...

Please help. Can anyone share the pros and cons?

I am not planning to use my phone as the Supra access. So infrared is not that important to me.

Depends on whether jogdial is preferred or touch screen. Blackberry and Moto Q are jogdial and Centro is touch screen. Also whether you prefer Blackberry interface, Windows Mobile or Palm.

I recently got the Centro on SERO after reviewing the Mogul and Centro. I like touch screen, especially when driving. I also use it is Supra Ekey software. Palm software works better with Supra.

There is a thread on the forum that I believe may answer a lot of your questions.

I just got my Moto Q9c last week and love it. I almost went with the Pearl but opted for the full keyboard on the Moto. I got the GMAC discount of $91.88 a month unlimited web/phone package and the Moto was $49.000. I think that anyone can actually get this discount if you just ask for it though. I spent a bunch of time on the Moto forum before I made the decision:

I have very limited cell coverage in this rural area hence do not depend on it. If I can use it for voice to up date the home front on my itinerary of the day that is all I care for. There are not only whole days but sometimes as much as a week that I don't use the cell at all! Mine is with AT&T (botom of the line Nokia), my wife has Verizon service but don't recall which 'phone. We have slightly different coverage areas without having a strong preference for one vs. the other; both have big holes in them!

i have sprint.

i dont use my phone for data.

i have the katana. battery time is great.

i have a plan with 4k daytime minutes and no roaming. my daytime minutes start at 7am and end at 7pm.

i talk over 3k minutes a month on that phone(daytime), i dont even look at my offpeak minutes

great clarity

no complaints from me

i have had sprint for over 8 years and when numbers became portable i left and went to at&t(bad choice for me in my area)

i switched back to sprint and dont see myself leaving for another network unless things were to change for the worse.

I am excited about "google android"

I will probably wait for that before I get a newer phone.
