I inherited 33 acres of land. It's shaped like a right triangle, is covered with brush and trees and has only 30 ft of frontage on one corner. Oh, the hypotenuse is along a busy railroad track.
This has to rate right down there with inheriting swampland. If it has wildlife, they would have to be nearly deaf. What in the world do you do with a piece ground like this? How do you determine a fair market value? I wouldn't even know where to look for the sale of a comparable piece of ground. So, what standard could I use?
