That's really very insightful.

Former occupants always seem to leave a refrigerator full of food when they decide to abandon.

"Enter and you will die" spray painted on exterior wall next to the front door. And because it was a rural location with no neighbors in sight I DID NOT ENTER!

Check out this find in Connecticut:

Jan. 5th, 2013

FARMINGTON, Conn. (AP) _ Bank representatives cleaning out a foreclosed home in Farmington have stumbled upon 130 guns, 20,000 rounds of ammunition together with what appeared to be a grenade and a mortar.

Police dispatcher Tom Sevigny said on Saturday that an investigation showed the guns were legally registered to the resident. The grenade and mortar turned out to be inert.

Sevigny says police have seized the weapons and authorities will not file charges against the owner.

The guns included shotguns and handguns.

The bank foreclosed on the Fairview Drive home on Friday. Bank representatives went to clean out the home before the occupant had cleared out his belonging when they stumbled upon the alarming cache, prompting them to call authorities to investigate.

A local real estate agent was picked up with a small cache' of weapons and ammo. He had a camera, a GPS, and dozens of photos of homes in his possession. He had been staking out several homes in the area, especially interested in the house numbers and street scenes of the homes. Oddly, there were never any pets or people in the photos. The matter is under further investigation.

Aside from the expected pure trash/old clothes/shoes, I've noticed older, bulky, computer monitors. No surprise, as they now charge a recycle fee to dispose of such.

I have an idea of starting a new forum of wants and needs from the findings at our properties. I'll start it off with the request for a 1969-1976 Kawasaki three cylinder motorcyle. ANy condition will be considered. PM me with your findings.

life sized cardboard cutouts. found a Justin bieber lately, and a power ranger. once I found a Ferenghi Warrior from Star Trek in a basement. Scared me to death, I walked around the rest of the basement, came back and it scared me to death again, so I put it face down on the ground, I felt really dumb for the second time...

I recently inspected a property, the unit downstairs had sewage backed up with alot of "poop" everywhere. There was a tenant upstairs that used a shovel to get rid of it when it was too much. The banks need to stop reducing the commissions so much as they have no idea the "crap" they put us thru!
