I have an offer that I have until Friday to take them (realestatepromoter.com) up on. I pay only $40.00 monthly for hosting, waive $500.00 set up...can anyone at least have a look at it and give me their opinion if this looks like I could really create some good stuff with this? Suggestions are welcome...

It looks like to get any traffic you have to add on their marketing package - which would be where they make their money I am thinking...

If you download the pdf file that compares them to their competition, at the end they give 3 testimonials. The first one's site has been suspended, the second no longer exists, and the third's website has been grey barred.

That would be a warning sign I would think...

Try point 2nls agent, works fairly easy and you can use a standard site for free. I have been using it well over a year and like it such far.

will look into. I have also looked at tiptopwebsite.come

been paying $1.00 a month, but that's just to get an idea of looks, functionality, etc...there is an option for over $10.00 a month, but I dont' think it's quite a fit for me

I think I am going to go with agentpro/agentimage....same costs, no free offer for setup or anything, but I get LOTS more options than the other one I was looking into, and it's the same monthly hosting fee...

Most companies will wave their setup fee. I would do a search in another real estate area and see what other top agents are using. You can usually tell who built the site by the add at the bottom of the homepage.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however.
