Alright let's get everyone to participate here--
What items of interest should you be carrying to make up the perfectly outfitted REO vehicle???

I will start with the basics---

1) Camera
2) Key sets/combo box codes to all REO's
3) Business cards
4) Supply of flyers
5) Tools (let's make a list)
6) Cleaning supplies (let's make a list of these too)
7) Flashlight

etc. etc

I bet with this group we can put together a lean, mean REO machine.....

(Guns, knives, machetes etc all count as weapons)

This should be interesting

Latex gloves, surgical masks, antibacterial lotion
pepper spray
laptop, phones, power cords for all
Black and Decker air compressor (small for vehicle tires)
Black and Decker power supply/jumper cable combo
Fix-a-flat
Tape measure, power screwdriver/drill with attachments, manual screwdrivers
Bottled water (helps get signs in the rock hard ground sometimes)
Tape (duct, electrical, scotch)

I know, it sounds like I am going to drive to Florida and abduct a romantic rival from the airport. At least I haven't taken to wearing the astronaut diapers...

Good stuff so far--let's keep it going.

Dustbuster for quick sweeps of carpets after initial cleaning
Pump sprayer, to clean dirt/dust off front doors

Remember, this is not just stuff for initial visits.

I take that with me sometimes!

Here's whats in my car:

Mighty Giant Ladder (gets really tall, but folds to fit in my bug)
Toolkit from Ikea (love it)
5-6 locksets
Zip ties
Baby wipes
"Wellies" rain boots for mud/snow or ick
Change of clothes
box cutter
electric drill w/metal & doorknob drill thingies
bump keys
"No Trespassing" signs
"Caution" tape
a zillion nails & screws
packing tape for taping CFK & other notices to doors
trash bags
box of clearance air fresheners from Wal-Mart (nice for stinky listings)
light bulbs
taser
pruning shears for those rosebushes that try to grab you when you walk by
"Ginsu" scissors
A zillion pens
sign panels (because they keep dissapearing)

I'd take an off-duty cop if he was hot.

Of course he would probably question my "crime kit" aka "REO kit" in the back. If you think about it, we carry better crime supplies than most criminals. Auburn even brings her own crime scene tape. lol...

Mine is hot!!

I was thinking the other day that I was thankful for being married to a cop, if I ever get pulled over I'm certain they will think I'm a burglar!

Auburn now that's what I call a list!! Good stuff..

One question--do you have a picture of the doorknob drill thingies? Can't quite picture what you mean, but it sounds necessary.

somebody else to go into the really disgusting houses!!!

extra keys to properties
extra lockboxes
gun
tape measure

I like the idea of the vicks vapor rub - never thought of that for those houses that smell like there's a dead body in the walls!
