There are two polls, and they will be open until 10pm on February 15, 2008.
One poll is for "FULL TIME" agents only. We define "full time" agents as those who derive a majority of their income from real estate, and not another job or profession.
If you are not a full-time agent, then please take the Part Time Agent poll.
Thank you for your partipation. All answers are anonymous.

I'm Part time.
I didn't make any money in 2007. I only started activly using my license since December time frame though.
2008 I have a pretty good start. Made $240 bucks doing a fee for service and have a 206K house listed in Oklahoma City area.
My goal for 2008 -- as a part time realtor is to gross $30,000. And to quit my full time job by June of 08.

Many real estate companies in our Minneapolis confirmed that they made about the same number of sales last year, but their earnings had dropped due to shrunk commission. Plus when the market is so slow, it needs more dollars for marketing. That increases the overhead too.

Sounds like those part-timers need to go full-time and make 100k+ then, eh?
:-)
You like 1911's, Tony? The kind I'm thinking of?

First thought or second?
First thought: a joke. Making 100k-200k a year does not follow from going full-time in real estate. More like, the part timers are failures at it, just in the process of washing out.
Second thought: a 1911 is a common, iconic model of pistol of which I am fond.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
