Does any lending broker here negotiate their broker agreement with their lender. If you actually read them (which most brokers dont), you will see you are signing your entire brokerage away if something goes wrong for any reason. Have any of you successfully negotiated terms?
I am a broker. I have attempted to with a few, but they wouldn't budge. There should only be certain reasons they can make you buy back a loan and most of those reasons revolve around fraud.

actually, read those packets carefully, i have several here that say "for whatever reason should the lender not be able to resell the loan, the broker agrees to buy back the loan"
I do read them and that is not something I recall ever seeing in a package. Half the lenders I signed up with some time ago don't even exist anymore...it's crazy.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
