Are there any Naples agents out there? I'm very interested in how your market is looking ... any better?

I'm from Naples. We have a real estate market? Had me fooled! We aren't even close to hitting bottom.

I am a new member here and have read a few postings from others on REO's. I am only interested in people that would like to help, not be mean. I am a seasoned agent here in california but have not been involved with REO listings before. I have been doing a ton of BPO's and obviously would like to get some listings. Seeing that there doesnt appear to be any other agents from california (northern) that is, can someone give me some ideas on what or which companies to get in touch with. Peace, out.

I'm from North Captiva, which is north of Naples and we see a lot of Naples buyers. I don't think we are at bottom yet, either. That said, our market has held up better in some respects due better supply constraints ( advantage of a small island with limited properties ). SW Florida beachfront properties are holding up better in general than SW Florida interior properties.

Rik like everything else you have to work for things. There are threads in this forum that you can review that will give you names or initials. Clearly you know google being from Nocal. google what you find here and get busy.

If you've done a great deal of BPO work as you state you should have insight into acquiring listings by virtue of the work you've already performed. Use the resources related to the tons of BPO's you've compiled. Look at the lists of forums. One of the names relates directly to what you're asking.

Carey if you do a query of counties or zip codes you can answer your own question by period over period review of number of distressed ie REO, NOD, NOT properties. If the number of properties increased by 200 or more every month things have gotten better.

Ramesh, thank you for posting. Our forum is newer and still very small. Please continue to post in this thread so that other members will take notice of your organization's work. Our forum is primarily interested in the building industry. I am sure in your enormous undertaking, the building industry is in there somewhere, along with many other important aspects you are researching.
