I use efax which I think runs me 19.95 a month. Not sure on the price though it could be less.

I use FaxMicro. http://faxmicro.com/

$4.95/month unlimited incoming faxes. I never use outbound faxing as I scan and e-mail.

They send the faxes as PDFs and you can set it up to send to multiple e-mail addresses simultaneously. We use this feature in my office to make sure that no fax is missed if someone is out.

Scott doesn't it eat up alot of your time scanning in the papers.I have the officejet all in one and the scanner works great I just wish it went as fast as the faxes do.

Well I started this thread a while ago, my vote goes to MyFax. Everything I need plus a local # for $10/mo. It's a great deal. Thanks to those who recommended it!

No, I use a fujitsu ScanSnap S510 (18ppm one sided or 36ppm two sided) so it's much faster than a fax machine! I also have an HP all in one and this blows it away.

Check out this video demo (yes, it really IS this fast!)

I'll second the recommendation on the scan snap. It is an incredible machine.

Kind of pricey , also this seems to be for sending faxes. I think what most of us want to know has to do with an e-fax that allows you to receive faxes via e-mail. Which will let you check and receive faxes anywhere you have access to internet.

Hey Tit4Tat, why don't you switch to Paketel? It'll save you a lot of money and you will have unlimited ability to receive faxes.

I have recently signed up for an on-line Fax-to-Email service provided by Packetel, a leading company in on-line fax services. With Packetel on-line fax service, not only will you be able to receive UNLIMITED incoming faxes at a very low cost of $3.95/month, but also get a dedicated personal fax number at no extra charge. They are now giving away a month's worth of free credit ($3.95) and I think you may be interested.

Please click on the following link to sign up:
http://www.packetel.com/Fax/faxServiceMain.asp

Check it out and let me know the result.

Best regards,
