I started wayback with efax….
Then moved to Ureach – which I still love and use due to the notification features.

But the best is Kall8.
If you haven’t taken advantage of Kall8, the lines are extraordinary –
unstoppable caller ID
they can reverse the numbers to an address/owner
real-time call logs
“local” (toll) numbers in cities throughout the US (have an office on both coasts), dropped call campaigns and
they even act as fax lines with similar notifications as Ureach…but for $5 month.

They are the best portable numbers anywhere, and as a PI, I gotta tell you – these numbers are wicked for sneaky things. The site looks cheesy, but the service is one of the best-kept secrets around.

Forward your landline fax into one of the above-services and voila, your fax problems are solved (and since it’s a toll-free number you’re forwarding into, your local landline provider won’t charge you for the usage).

I too use the free version of efax, have for years. I don't really care if it's a local number or not. WORKS GREAT!

Love efax, have had it for years. I can save to .pdf when an offer comes in.

Guzzie - I have a sprint aircard and send efaxes all the time on it.

We use a toll-free DocuHarbor number, a ScanSnap and full Adobe and it all ROCKS! DocuHarbor does it all.
Get a ScanSnap, too--it has been worth every penny.

Can y'all imagine what kind of technology we'll be using to sell RE even five years from now?

My husband/partner is in his 19th year of full-time selling and he chides me about the good 'ol (bad 'ol) days when they--get this--had to HAND WRITE the forms in triplicate!!!
And they had to wait all day for a buyer to not show up because nobody had cell phones...
And the fax paper was shiny and came on a roll and the thermal ink disappeared after time...
And they had to carry their buyers on their backs walking uphill to show houses HAAHAHAAAAH!

I used to pay for efax and had to download their program but switched to callwave as they use PDF base.
It is like $55 a year ,twice less than efax and I love it.
I scan all my stuff by faxing it to myself and saving it into PDF files.

I looked further into some of the cheaper sites I mentioned above, don't think they offer enough fax pages for the lower prices.

I don't see any free programs for myfax, just an offer for free first month.

I mean free efax program. Can somebody give me the url?

The fax comes over via email-it gets converted.

An aircard doesn't have a dial tone, thats why it won't work.
Only internet based fax programs will work.

I have a fax line at http://www.myfax.com

You get faxes sent to your e-mail.

You can send up to 100 pages per month, and receive up to 200 per month for $10/month. Additional pages have a cost per page of like 10 cents I think.

It works great so far. To send a fax you type in the fax#@myfax.com and you attach the PDF files to your e-mail.

http://www.efax.com. Now that you mention it, I think they have a page or MB limit on the free one.

RealTgalKY: Go to http://www.efax.com and when you come to the home page look to the left of the page Starting from left to right you will see" products", "downloads", "efax Pro" and "efax plus". On the column that says "Products" Click on the link that says "Learn More" This will take to the page where it shows the Products Overview, and here you will see the free service they offer. Hope this helps. \:\)

Love efax. I receive all faxes via email and can view and forward them from anywhere on my Blackberry. I'm totally mobile.
