Because they are spam and I have been receiving complaint after complaint about this whole issue.

I didn't realize that was considered spam. I was just trying to share information by letting people know about the site and how well it was working for me. Sorry for the inconvenience that my post has caused.

I do not think it was an inconvenience. But, I think your post should have actually read...

I'm sorry to know that was your interpretation of what I said, smgardner.

Sometimes people just want to share what they think is a good opportunity (as I did). Eventhough, I know that I would receive points if they join, I also know that they would have the same opportunity as I to earn points as well as the benefit of a referral network.

And, for your information, I did not realize that was spam nor did I realize that someone would have to take time from their day to remove my link.

Ok heres the thing. And I dont mean to sound negetive at all. I actually took the time to register there but I'm not sure how much time I want to invest in it. When you say your # so-and-so what does that translate to in money in your pocket. I understand its perhaps too early to tell as this is still a new project but do you forsee this as generating potential revenue? Just Curious.

Possibly, if you go to their forums, there are a few stories of people who have already gotten clients (who found them on ActiveRain).

Worst case scenario about the whole thing - if it doesn't pan out, I'll just consider it a silly little game where I got to meet a bunch of new people.

Better check your facts before you decide to speak. I was involved in that breaking federal law thread and I kept pointing out that doing so was wrong and unethical and others should not follow the example of one agent that feels that the only laws that apply to him are the ones he agreed with! So get your facts straight before shooting off your mouth!

I too received complaints from a very Few vocal complainers on the number of postings and they were not just about you because this thread was started by someone else who thought they should jump on the points bandwagon.

How does this even merit a complaint. I`m curious, what are these people doing wrong except commenting on a new real estate site?

Thank You for posting information about Activerain.

During the last several days i have played with the site as well as the blog.

I find it quite interesting, except some of the Realtors seem to be in some sort of a cult. I have posted information from our blog that we`ve had for the past two years and have received very hostile commentary from others.

Is this normal for that site or are these Realtors totally brainwashed and fixuated with points?
