Better check your facts before you decide to speak. I was involved in that breaking federal law thread and I kept pointing out that doing so was wrong and unethical and others should not follow the example of one agent that feels that the only laws that apply to him are the ones he agreed with! So get your facts straight before shooting off your mouth!
I too received complaints from a very Few vocal complainers on the number of postings and they were not just about you because this thread was started by someone else who thought they should jump on the points bandwagon.

Yes, a part of the "fun" of the network is the points system and we do earn points by inviting folks to join through our invitations. Regardless of what anyone may think, there was nothing nefarious intended by my links to activerain... I really don't care if you join through me or not. That is just a "game" aspect of the network to make it kind of fun.
Try as a may, I can't seem to get anyone in Jacksonville to take any of my "points" as payment. Those darned business owners still want cash for everything... imagine the audacity! Don't they know there's a new currency in town! LOL
It's kind of funny to me that anyone has gotten all worked up over this... to the point of complaining to the moderators (I know of 2 moderators who submitted profiles to ActiveRain - I wonder why they didn't just delete my post? And they didn't join the first, second or third time I posted either. Hmmm....)
At any rate, this topic has stirred far more contraversy than it should IMO. Last week there was a thread in which breaking federal law was promoted that didn't stir up the masses the way this has and the moderators didn't step in to do anything. I'm not sure what to surmise from that but I assure you I'll not broach the ActiveRain topic again.
This is just too silly. LOL
