Those are good tips. A couple years ago I wrote an e-book call "How to buy or sell your home in 1 minute." I believe with the internet the seller has to be ready to take all the necessary measures to interact with buyers -- virtually instantaneously.

Many "how to" information on buying and selling houses simply won't work in today's age due to the fact that in less than 72 hours, virtually every buyer can be exposed to a property.
Buying and selling decisions are made faster. Exposure is faster. Rejection/acceptance is faster. Offer presentation is faster. Every aspect of buying, selling and researching will be faster.

This also means that the demand for agents to provide useful knowledge will be even greater than before. Unfortunately, during the transition from slow to fast many agents will be forced out of the marketplace. There will be more emphasis
on knowledge than service labor.

That list doesn't explain anything about selling a house in 10 days. That's just a generic list on the process to sell a house. I see nothing special there to cause a house to sell in 10 days. For example 5. Set your selling price. Yes? You can set any selling price. That might not help you sell a house though. It might keep you from selling a house. But who knows maybe in Egypt that's all you need to do.

Hm and how are you going to price that home to have top money in 10 days? I will be glad to hear that.

Home inspection is good but how will taht help you to sell your home for 10 days?!

I'm looking for an inexpensive CD about home staging. Does anyone know of a website/company that could help? I have one but the cd's are $30. I thought about a year ago I saw one on bizbox for like $6.....but I checked their site this morning and don't see any there! Thanks for your help!

It's impossible to sell a home in 10 days. Maybe get it under contract, but unless it's a cash buyer taking it as is with no inspections and doesn't want a title search....

That said - this list really is kind of slim. It doesn't tell me anything that I really need to know.

I'm just learning but to me that seems like an imposibility. Just the lender finalizing the approved loan takes about the time or longer correct? Let alone the inspection, appraisal, title work, ect.

The things that are out of your hands take longer than that. That's if you amazingly can find a buyer who will sign in that time too. From what I know I would have to take from another post talking about headlines...

These are obviously not enough to sell in 10 days...

Several of my clients have had listing go under contract in one day. It's possible that some of them my have closed within 10 days.

On CNN last week was an 8 year old promoting his book, "how to talk to girls." He ended with, "The toughest part is getting girls to like you."

Hence, any seller can learn how to sell a house in 1 day, 10 days, or 30 days. The real secret is getting buyers to like you and make offers.

I have, with a new loan. Nothing is impossible if you deal with the right people. Anyone, lender, title company, etc, can push a loan through in less than 10 days if they so desire.

you may want to add virtual tours to that list as well as send a postcard to neighbors, and perhaps have an auction. you will really put yourself behind the 8 ball if you follow that list you mentioned.

Or..

be the lowest priced home in the area by at least 5%... if you don't get offers in 5 days lower another 5%.

I have to agree with Perky Realtor! It's just impossible to sell a home in 10 days. Just a negotiation process can last about 10 days..!

10 days-right.Nothing is impossible but this is highly unlikely. Title search, negotiating, termite inspection, etc. If I had a cash buyer in my pocket, maybe but not likely.
