Trying to place an image URL for my avatar in my profile.

I'm pretty sure I'm following all the instructions, including use of a graphic that doesn't exceed the stated parameters, but the avatar is not showing up with my post.

I read the FAQ and searched the site but can't figure out where I might be going wrong. Guidance appreciated.

Thank you! My search did not reveal this thread. Suggestion: When it's convenient (maybe you're tweaking other things there), put a note in the custom avatar set-up area, explaining that it will only work after one has contributed ten posts.

Also, some users might like to know: Does the avatar show up "retroactively," on the posts you made prior to becoming a "full member"?

I got mine to work fine... first try. Actually other real estate forums are causing more issues for me but this one works great!
