So I called a company that I did a BPO for, and had no QC issues, and gave it in early, and they havent sent me anything in 3 months. The very professional and pleasant women on the phone tells me that my rating (for my 1 bpo) is good, however my market is very competitive. I say really? She says, yes, we have an agent performing BPO's for $32.99. I say OH(!), she asks me if I want to beat their price....I say uhm, no. I mean they paid me quickly last time, and this women was really nice on the phone, but seriously 32.99 for a full exterior BPO, I mean common.

So can you just call these BPO companys and say hey if you send me this many orders I'll do them for $40, $35, Or $19.95 and a free toaster? Will they start sending more?

Be careful what you ask for....you could wind up with an oversupply of toasters.

While some forum members are tiring of me saying it is better to do 1 for $100 than 2 for $50, etc. I think this thread indicates that some of you are also understanding the message! But there will always be agents, particularly new ones, willing to do them as a loss leader thinking they have a listing in the wings as a result. If only they understood how many are purposes that will never result in a listing.

I'd do a BPO for $32.99... if I rode a bike and I only had to travel a quarter of a mile.

I agree. problem here is, not many $100 ones come around or can be negotiated, so the $50 ones are all that're left.

I wouldn't go that low to $19.95 even with toasters. $45 is low as I go to accept orders. I have to drive nearly 10 miles or more to any order I get no matter where it is. But that's ok with me. I'm rural so it is what it is.

I gotta be really hurtin' to do the $45 ones. I use to do 'em for Freddie beacause they were basically desktops and no photo was required, so that didn't bother me. Plus I just like working for Freddie because they're easy and they send me a lot of work, and because they are also a seller.
