You have to request auto assign from them. I am not sure how they will hadle it if you are new. J will know the answer. I would try and get a couple under my belt and then request it. I got it after a few dozen orders, but I think I requested it. What happenens is the auto assign guys are given a couple of hours to accept it, if they do not you will get a shot to accept it. So it is worth it to keep trying. Auto assign does not assign the order to any one agent, it gives the agent a window of time to accept it w/out competition.

I am on auto assign, but I do not believe you get a couple of hours. I have had times as recently as Friday when I got blasted for an order and it is gone immediately. I am talking within three minutes. But for the most part, I get a bit of time 15-20 minutes probably. Much more than I used to have, but not a couple of hours...ever. I have gotten to where I do not mind doing orders for these guys.I do between 7-10 a month it seems lately..I think if you get six or seven under your belt you could contat and ask about auto assign..

Once you get to 6 you can ask for auto-assign. If you are auto-assigned you get a certain amount of time to accept or it gets blasted to several preferred agents in the area where its first come first serve. If none of them take it it gets blasted to all agents in the area.
I wish there was a way to tell if an order was assigned to you or part of a blast to the preferred agents. That way I'd know if I had the time to look at it and turn it down if I was already busy and it looked like a time consuming one.

I am still trying to catch my first one. I am not fast enough, no matter what I do. I respond to the email within 1 minute, gone, I tried refresh, refresh, refresh, nothing. Do not know what to do.

Just be patient. I know its hard but if you catch a couple and prove your worth we get you on as a preferred vendor. Good vendors we keep in mind for special assignments and other opportunities as they come up. Our panel is actively removing agents that consistantly miss tat dates, are unprofessional or give poor quality work so hopefully it will make the orders easier to get for the good agents out there that care about what they do. After 6 orders, you can always email us and request preferred status. We can't always give it but we do try whenever possible to get our good agents in there.
Thanks again for all the hard work you guys do.

J~ Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, let's cut to the chase. I'm an approved agent with at least 90% of my clients. Let's eliminate the middle man and give me my preferred status..........Did I tell you I also work for "Trust Me Realty"?.......lol. On the serious side, MSV orders were blasted late in the week.....I already had a full plate. Actually, I had two full plates......lol. My assistant copped an attitude, late in the week....I asked her to work late.......like until 3 a.m......I figured I was working.......why not her?.......lol.

J,
Does the system calculate driving distance as proximity, or does it use linear distance?
This comp, you have to drive around your elbow to get to your face, but they're literally less than 500 ft apart, but you have to drive 2.2 miles to get there.

I agree! We had better luck catching orders from EML by refreshing regularly. It seems we had more than 100 orders that flew fast last Friday and even if i see a few from the website i can't seem to be fast enough to check and accept. Not even one out of 100??? Argggghhhh!!!
Me thinks auto accept still around...

P.S. Just a brief chime in, but I really appreciate the collaboration, J and sticking through all the floggings. I've been reading through this thread and really appreciate the time you spend on here to help better the industry for both sides of the field. I'm new to this scene and have only worked with a few companies, but I can tell that MSV will be on my favorites list for a long while.
But seriously, no butt-kissing here, just 100% sincere appreciation.
