Reached my limit & all orders were turned in several days ago...........all of them still sitting there and I'm unable to accept any work until they start to clear them out.

What's strange is most of these were Rush orders that paid more, but their in no "rush" to clear them.

I second that one. Have 5 sitting in QC for the last 4 days. And... I get a call back on one of the 5 to do an interior for a 1.25m home that is a short sale. The owners still live there. When I called the listing agent about doing the interior she insisted since I am working for the mortgage company I should be the one to set up the walk through. Sorta a sore subject with the home owner she said. I bet! Gee, should be a fine Tuesday morning! This is on top of already after completing a drive by on this property.

Is there a number for the home owner to call if they want further info, than what I can give them over the phone, when setting up the walk through? Any tips, tricks, advice in this situation?

Tell them that to complete a short sale they have to have a valuation done and you are there to complete that.

What a chicken the listing agent is...cluck,cluck,cluck. Lost complete control of the transaction is he/she can't even call their own client, how are they gonna have the stick to it stuff to get a short complete??

I always try to quash any discussion with them - tell them you are required to be a disinterested 3rd party. They need to contact their lender for any other information, as it is part of the requirement for a short sale. Period.

LA is slow. I have a few in QC for a week now. I wish they were as fast as EML.

Great. Thanks for the suggestions! Haha.. Yeah I kinda got a kick out of the listing agent. She was not having any part of making that call. Not sure really what the deal is. Yeah he, the owner, might be peaved, but it has to be done. I will keep the suggestions in mind when I make the call tomorrow. That is if LA can wait that long!

That agent is in clear violation of her duties. She is supposed to look after her clients best interests, and delaying the short sale process is not how that is done. If she didn't want to deal with a short sale, she should have refused the listing. I would have to think really seriously about telling her I thought so.
