If any of you had changed real estate companies was there any downside as far as the amount of orders you were getting? I'm especially concerned that if I go to another company and say there are already other agents doing valuation / REO work there, that my level will fall off. Any detail is appreciated.

I have switched with no changes. I would think if you go to a new office with established REO agents it may effect your rating depending on if you are working for the same REO/BPO company.

Curious as to the same thing. Franchise or independent? Those of you who own your own office or work at a smaller independent office, did you work increase, such as orders and REO assignments?

I'm trying to decide if I should leave a national franchise branch office with two REO agents in it already and start my own independent company.

I changed brokerages and my problem was getting the bpo mills to change my info. Some allow you to change it yourself some don't. I sent several messages to Proteck and it never got changed. Checks were going to the wrong place. As far as listing the amc's didn't care as far as I know.

I didn't see a decrease in work.But along with REO Seller,my checks are still going to the wrong place even though I have been on my own for 5 months,and occasionally they send them to the right place and then sometimes they go to my old office,but besides that work pretty much remained the same,picked up a little but no real downside in switching.
