Well, I was casualy talking with a fellow agent in my new office about his Mercedes Sl500 roadster and somehow it came up that he used to work with Microsoft, and he then informed me that he was 1 of the 9 original guys who started working on Expedia back in 94'. I chuckled and said well, aern't those the guys who started Zillow? He said yes, and that he was currently working on Zillow, I stepped back and gasped, I then called him a backstabber and spit in his general direction... well I didn't spit, but felt like it. He laughed and said that real estate agents had nothing to worry about, and that Zillow would be bankrupt in 2 years!! He had to leave shortly after the remark, so I didn't have time to figure out how or why they were going to be BK, but I am sure this will be interesting conversation when we talk again. I do believe him because I was talking originally about the Toshiba tablet PC that I wanted and he agreed that it was the best on the market, and that all the tech at Microsoft used only Toshiba laptops. Plus, every Fri. morning he teaches a computer class for the entire office. Hmmm... kinda makes you think. Oh, by the way, this is NOT an April fools joke!

I know lots of guys at WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) who will tell you the same thing about the Toshiba laptops and tablets. Those are the guys I am going with when I pick one up.

Yes, these guy's were just a few who made Zillions of bucks in the "Internet" boom of the '90's.. Many are coming back for a second pass, several are aiming at the Real Estate Community, they were "Scammers" then, and they are "Scammers" now! Be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WITH MANY OF THE LEAD GENERATORS in particular, ( I can't name names here, obviously) but I'm aware of them from prior experience in that period from a technical sales perspective.

I don't think I follow you Phil, He, the person who is working on "Z", is the second place agent in my office, he isn't trying to sell me anything but a house if I want one. Although I agree with you about the lead generators, I however will name names, AGENTCONNECT!!!! What a joke... I have no idea if this what you are talking about, please elaborate.
