Just got my first Interior from FARVV...now I'm not quite clear on how to get in..it says
If interior contact information is not provided, there will be a lockbox on the property with access code ****. If a padlock, the code is ****. Key Type Qwikset and Keycode *****.
I have the owners phone number also, so do I call her?
Not sure how to go about this.
Also the fee was only 55-..what the heck? Is that normal for them?
I emailed them asking about the fee and contact but just wanted to get some feed back.
Thanks

I haven't done an order with FARVV yet, but the e-mails seem to give me the impression that their pay is pretty low.

If the owner's phone number is on there they probably know that the BPO was ordered.

I just call and tell them I was assigned to do the BPO, and I ask them if they are aware of it. They usually say yes, then ask for the lock box code.

It worries me when they say stuff like, try this, if that does work try this.... etc. because it gives me the assumption that they aren't even positive that any of those are correct.

likearollinhome, I don't think you should put lockbox codes on a public forum such as this one. It really should be confidential information. I just got a FARVV interior for $55; luckily it's less than a mile from my house. Others I have done for them are for higher fees.

Typically when they give a lockbox or quikset code it is an REO.

Thanks for the advice, but they called me about an hour after I accepted it and said the agent that started it, is going to finish it.
I changed the numbers a bit on the post, just wanted you to get what I was taking about. It was confusing, it seemed they gave me the interior to do but they really have no idea how I was going to get in.
This one was about 8 miles away, I thought the fee was low, but I would of done it..

I just got another interior and I called the contact number, spoke to the owner who knew nothing about anything and wasn't about to just let me in to take pictures. He also stated he home is paid and has no mortgage.
I guess I should call FARVV, yes?
He was quite nice and said if someone calls and tells him why I need to do this he has no problem with it. And also stated he is fixing it up to sell. Hmmmm
