Just thought this would be something important to cover. Another topic was heading this direction, and I thought it deserved it's own topic. We use an HSA- our family of 7 is less than $600 per month, and our deductable is $2,500. Everything is covered at 100% after deductable. So if something terrible happens to someone we just pay the $2,500. Plus if you don't meet your deductable you have a little money socked away in your HSA (basically like an IRA). What does everyone else use? Anyone have any scoop on the group insurance legislation that would allow us to get group insurance through NAR? It probably wouldn't save anyone healthy any money. But for anyone who has health problems that may prevent them from getting a good individual plan this could be a good thing.
