BPO FAQ BPO/REO Tips and Tricks 1)
Personal Attacks - Any personal attack in a post will cause the post to be deleted. Some members are very bad at being respectful to the other members of this forum.
(2/7/2008 UPDATE) In this topic it is defined as a member personally attacking another members personality. So a negative post does not mean you should call them names. Feel free to disagree and post why you disagree with their opinion.
Example: User #1 posts income derived from BPO's. User #2 states "Posting that is unprofessional"
Had user #2 said "you are unprofessional" it would be a personal attack. The way user #2 posted was ok because it is an opinion on posting income figures in a public forum.
There are members who have negative opinions on this board. Be prepared for some constructive criticism regarding your opinion.
However, if someone continues to be a nuisance they will also be dealt with. Like continuing to be negative and rude. Let us take care of those issues and just make us aware of the problem.
Also if you wish you can ignore a user. Click their name and choose ignore.Do not choose to become engulfed in the drama and contribute to the problem by breaking the rules.
And to close this up DO NOT be afraid to post. No one is banned right away. Unless it is pornographic! We try to help clarify things with you so you understand.
Also:
- Profanity and/or the use of insulting names
- Nonsense
- SPAM
- Posting of confidential information such as key codes, lockbox codes or anything that is not meant for public view.
- Self promotion or advertising (having your web site and/or contact information in your signature is still OK at this time)
- or.. any other issue that is negative and unbecoming of a real estate professional

Help us members - When a personal attack or violation occurs please notify a moderator to take care of the post and
do not reply with another attack. All you have to do is click notify in the bottom right of the post in question. Ignore the post until it is removed. Feel free to pm the user with your thoughts.
If you reply with a comment that violates these rules you are equally as guilty!!!2)
Asking for Asset Management Companies - We have almost every one of them mentioned in prior posts. Do a search. DO NOT ask for a list of companies. There are several posts made about that already. Here is why this is not tolerated. Agents in here have a list and have searched for hours, days, and years to find them. It is like asking to take food off their table. We had a vote about it and you will have to put in the effort to get the reward. There are plenty of topics you can find that do tell you how to get a list. Any post of this nature will be deleted.

Asset Management Company posts - Please do a search for the company name and add to the existing post. It will refresh the topic bringing it to the top of the list for you to get an answer to your post.

Not Searching First - People in this forum spend a great deal of time answering questions. Do a search to see if you can find what you need. By default the search brings up posts within the last week so delete the 1 in this box:
Also if the search fails then go onto
google advanced search then the only change you make is adding agentsonline.net to the image field
When members see you did your due diligence and brought up an old topic then you will immediately gain a high rapport with me and every other member.
If I find a topic that is a duplicate you will be added to my watch list and I will check to see if you are searching.

Posting about a BPO Company (added 12/26/2007) - All BPO company posts are now kept in a central post. If you post anything pertaining to a BPO company you must post it in the master post for the company. Failure to do so will result in your user name being placed on the watch list. After 1 warning and merging of the topic you created that did not follow this instruction any future posts not in compliance will be deleted.
