At my last office meeting my broker suggested that all the agents in the office do a first-time home buyer seminar in different community centers throughout the city in conjunction with a loan officer, even the new agents.

I get a little nervous speaking to a crowd of people and I'm not sure if I'm ready for this. Has anyone here done this, and if so how did it go?

know your stats and numbers. Anything liie this always goes easier if you can answer questions and sound professional and knowledgeable about what youre talking about. Then its easier each time. I've never done one but have no problem with public speaking.

I really believe you should consider joining toastmasters as super realtor said earlier. I went to a couple of meetings and it really makes a difference I did not join I admit I was scared but your speaking skills will improve. Give it A Try!

Thank you for the advice, I had no idea about this club. I checked it out and there are a few clubs around my area and I will certainly be attending. In the meantime I will tell my broker that I will not be doing the seminar until I feel more prepared, even though he is insisting.
