Has your broker given you any ideas?

My broker told me he is looking for some scripts, but my company is new, and i believe i have fallen, but not completly. Into the getting hired and find everything yourself stereotype.

Not to read too much into that comment, but just to be clear- you didn't get hired. You are an independant contractor, working for yourself, with your licence at a brokerage. You are a broker of transactions who collects a commission off any transactions you can hustle up. The brokerage simply gets some of your hard-earned coin.
You MUST get out of the "employee" mentality, if indeed you are in it, as soon as possible! You are NOT hired, you are NOT an employee. If you were, you'd be getting a paycheck every 2 weeks and have bennies, like the front-desk person!

Thats why I went with KW. I'm sure there are not so great ones as there are all other brokerages but I'm well pleased. We get training everyday and our OP is a script officienado. He's crazy good with understanding scripts and objections and the DISC profile. I really wish you could come to one of our training classes. This is why everyone here always says to treat the interview as if youre hiring the broker as well because you are, and to ask about training because for new agents its vital. Anyone, agent or not, or from any brokerage can come to our training classes free.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
