...I'm posting this here as well as in the "Aspiring Agents" forum in hopes that it might get a bit more traffic. I hope that's okay.

Hello...I'm taking my exam tomorrow, and have been interviewing different offices/brokers at the same time. I've done a lot of research, and I think I've got a pretty good idea of what they're all about at this point. I'm having problems, however, prioritizing what's important initially....

Is it...

1) Training
2) Supportive Staff
3) Small or large number of agents
4) "Name" recognition...franchised or not
5) Commission schedule
6) Fees
7) Office location
8) Who you are rubbing elbows with (There are some BIG guns in a couple of these offices, and I don't know if I should want to go there to learn from them or worry about getting run over)
9) Non-competing versus competing management...
10) Signing non-compete agreements vs offices that don't have them
11) Market shares in my area...one of the franchised brokers has a 50% hold on our local market

These are just some of the factors I'm thinking about right now. I know most of my success depends on ME, but I'd like to find a Brokerage that also will aid in my development into a strong agent. Thanks for any advice you have!!
