Also, don't forget to get healthy foods. Watch the carbs--too many will cause brain fog. Eat adequate protein. You can do it!! Go for it!!

A month should be plenty of time. Flashcards worked for me. Handwrite them, by the time you have written all the keywords and important ideas you will know the majority.

Not sure about your state, but many require you take a course, either in class or online, that is up to 75 hours in length. After completing the course you can sit for the state exam. The online course I took also included a 2 day cram course. The 2 day cram course was so effective I believe I could have passed the test with only those two days! The instructor was great. Does your state require a course of study before taking the state exam?

I had a book of practice tests that I took repeatedly until I got everything right.
I listened to CD's of real estate vocabulary (and to be honest, the only word I still remember, but have absolutely no use for, is accretion. Oh yeah, that and riparian rights. lol)
The night before the exam, before going to bed, I studied all of my notes once or twice, that is all. Didn't spend more than an hour, probably 45 minutes. The stuff I knew I skipped and concentrated on the stuff I consistently got confused on the practice tests. Then immediately after studying, I went right to sleep. Did not read something else or watch TV.
Then the morning of the test I got up and reviewed my notes again. Had breakfast, and got in the car. Didn't listen to the CD of words this time, just drove in silence.
Went to the test, and aced both the state and the national. I didn't worry about the pro-rated math questions as I stink at that. LOL.
This study technique along with the sample tests was really effective.

Did the online course. Went trough the exam questions until I got at least 90%. I think I studied 7 days full time, 12 hours a day, then passed both the general and state parts. At the time they only gave you pass/fail no scores. So not sure how well I did.
A month, you can definitely do it. Well.... did you ? Give us an update.

I think as long as you are prepared you will pass easily enough. Great advice here, writing the flash cards and then having someone quiz you is important.
I get severe test anxiety so I try to YES - eat very healthy and no overdosing on caffein prior to the test. Other wise I go straight into brain-scamble mode. Good Luck and let us know how incredibly easy it was for you ; )

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
