So i'm a first time leaser. I just bought a house myself and would like to lease out the two other additional rooms. Is there somewhere I can find an official lease contract? How does a landlord obtain these? Or do I need to draw one up? Thanks

I would contact your attorney. It wll be well worth the money spent and will save you major headaches down the road especially since you are just renting out rooms.

I have a son going to do a similar thing he's building a house 3327 square feet house 4 bedroom/3 bath and wants to rent a room
for the first couple of years. He works from home and wants someone who will fit his lifestyle. His friends are anxious but I don't think he should they are alot wilder than he and will try to turn it into a party house. I keep encouraging him to do a lease with who ever he rents to. One night at a restaurant a waitress heard us and piped in and said her first time to rent was a nightmare and couldn't get the person out. She suggest going with a company to locate and do lease paperwork. I know it's his decison but you can see the potential for a problem. He is to be admired he is 26 and partner in a company and works very very hard for what he has. Any experience with companies who do room shares?
