I had a phone call this afternoon at 2:30 from a BPO company asking me if I was interested in doing a BPO for them. I won't name the company...it's a new one to me although others here have said it's okay.
Anyhow, the rep asked me if I could do an assignment in a small village that's not in my normal zip code coverage agea. I groaned...I can do that area, but the comps are hard to find so I know it would take me a long time to research.
What's the pay, I asked? She responded, it's not so much the pay...I need it today.
Starting from 2:30? And it's 20 miles away...barely time to get photos before the sun sets. I happened to be booked, so I turned it down.
Checking my email later, I see they offered it to me that way. The offered pay was $45.
I'm glad I said no. I wonder if they got someone to accept it?
