Has anyone heard or used Close Realty Websites ?

They have pitched me their website solutions which includes a drip email system and IDX solution. It looks like a good package and the price is right. But I wanted to see if anyone has any feedback on it.

Their website is not optimised for the search engines so my opinion is not way up there.

There's a lot of these sites. Poorly created, most of em are. I would suggest making your own for FREE. And I agree - no SEO.

The one thing I see is that you can pay $400 per year FOREVER, which if you're in the industry for about 10 years can add up to a lot. Or you could pay a good designer ONCE to to design a site for about $2000.

Once you sign up to a company like this, you are in their pocket!

If you want to move away from their system do you still have full usage of the site without the search results of your property listings?

Are you able to extract your property listings and take them else where?

Do you have to start all over if you stop using their services?

The best bit of advice is to go for a completely independent website designed by you or a professional website designer, then look at a MLS that has an available property search webkit that you can plug into your site or have your own database (can be quite pricey though).

Things like this company is promoting is too much of a commitment and is a lot of money to pay out for something that you may not have full control over.
