The choice is yours. In regards to multiple categories the answer is unfortunately no as the scripts and database validation don’t allow.

We also accept real estate articles with links to your sites. That will help your sites more in terms of search engine rankings.

Also i would like to point out that the directory has a PR of 4 at the momment.

You know, I really do hate it when people do that! Saying that your directory has a PR of 4 is meaningless. Having Page Rank on your main entry page does not help the people who are listed within and is definitely not a reason for wanting to be in your directory. The pages people are listed on have no PR and may never have PR given the way Google treats directories nowadays. They are not even listed in Google.

This directory isn't badly indexed. But one problem with this directory in particular is that it has thousands of pages covering more than one country.

What matters more is how selective the directory is when it comes to accepting submissions, as well as where that TBPR 4 is coming from.

In this case, most are coming from link exchanges with other directories, footer links (http://www.cyprus-trader.com/search.aspx?cat=Sports+and+Leisure), and other crap links.

Does it rank for [real estate directory]? No, which makes me suspect many of the inbounds aren't being taken seriously by Google.

Well Rooster a new website does take some time to be recognized by Google. Lets hope it is in the process of being indexed. Great directory.

Yes, that's generally true. New links also could use a few months to age.
