I'm planning to invest in real estate with a friend who is a realtor. I can only contribute 20% of the price of the house we're interested in buying. Should we make money after flipping it, what is a fair percentage of my cut of the profit (after realtor fees, fix-up costs, etc) that should be given to my friend for doing all the work?

What is a fair split is subjective and can only be determine dby you.

In my deals I have me that's a Broker and my friend that's a Broker.I buy the property for cash and he does all the management of the project and watching the contractors and sub contractors to make sure the project is done on time and on budget.We split the proceeds after the sale 50/50.

I put in the money and intial acquisition and he put sint he time on the middle to back end of the deal which for me is fair as I am doing other things.
