I don't do a lot of rentals but if a seller asks me to find a tenant I will. I get a lot of calls off my advertising where my property doesn't meet there needs. None of the big rental companies here pay referrals for tenants. They only pay if you bring them a property. My question is how do you get paid when finding a tenant for a rental property that is not your own?

Hi If your a licensed agent, which you are, you can get a fee if you have them sign a contract. I would be willing to do it in my market if they are willing to pay me Half of the 1st months rent, which is what I get in my own property management company.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however.
