I am struggling to get my links with anchor text into my signatures. Yes I read the UBB code instructions but they keep coming out with the code showing. Can someone please show me an example?

The "link" part should be your actual url - i.e. [url=http://www.etc.com]

Tried and still got code in there.

You only have half the code - you still need the link text and the closing tag

You can Wikipiedia BBC code and it will give you the exact code

Testing my signature

I have some difficulties to put in my signature a url, but after i have read FAQ it was easier even if it is different [url=link] not [url="link"] like i know.

After a few tries even I managed it

What other codes are allowed? Does it support every HTML tag available? Is there a list?

There is a list - You can check Wikipedia as mentioned earlier or there is a list of UBB code in our FAQ.

HTML is disabled as are images in signatures - you would need to use UBB.

Best way to do this is to create a full reply formating the signature the way you want it, preview your post, then if it is correct cut and paste it to your signature.

I read the rules and saw that only after 30 posts the signature will show. Though I see many other members that have their signature shown even when they have less posts.

Can you elaborate on that?

Never mind, I found that it commenced on 16-May-2008 and new members after that are affected (like me).

The way it works is that new users still see the box to add their signature in their member profile - but the length of signature allowed is 0 until a member has 30 posts. This is to prevent people from signing up just to get links on the board or links in the board's database.

I fully understand that, I run two article directories (one is dedicated to real estate) and I get many spam trials as well.

One question though, after a member reach to 30 posts. Will the signature be shown on the previous posts as well?
