Hi, I took ca real estate broker's exam three times and failed.
I need help pass the test. can anyone tell me what materials i need to study for the exam. and also, any tips as to how to pass the test. any help will be appreciated. thanks

I took the broker exam prep course from Anthony/Kaplan, and was very disappointed. The website doesn't tell you that you will be stuck in a class with people preparing for the SALES exam and the class is geared toward them! The instructor mentioned about five or six times items unique to the broker's exam, but that was it in the course of a two day class. You are better off going to Barnes & Noble and buying a test prep book and studying like crazy and save yourself the $200 course fee.

IMHO, the best real estate exam prep class is sponsored by Real Estate Trainers. I believe their website is retrainers.com

Better hurry up and pass it, if you don't meet these new rquirements.

hey ken! that's exactly what happened to me. i was told that kapland is a good material for the broker's test and i went to the crash course and it was more geared toward sale side. i was very disappointed. well, it helped but not good enough to pass the test. i guess i just go ahead and buy a book and start pounding the pavement.

Absolutely the #1 best is John Lumbleau. For California only, I believe. After taking his program, I finished part one of the exam in 40 minutes. They thought something was wrong. Finished part two in 45 minutes. I left crying because I knew I passed, maybe with over 90% correct. If you know the stuff you know it!
