I was fortunate enough to be given exclusivity on a Condo tower in Rosarito, Mexico. I need a lender (preferrably conventional) who can do this type of lending in Mexico. No brokers please, I need an actual lender.

Just curious why you say no brokers?

Have you tried the "big guys?" Citi, Chase, Bank of America? I can't remember which, but I think one has an affiliation w/ the Bank of Mexico.

Is there any way you can find out who holds the loans on your neighbors?

Simple, county court house, recorder of deeds office. Every mortgage is recorded and it's free to the public.

Not so simple, the properties are in Mexico.

These must be pretty sharp developers that gave an exclusive to a broker who doesn't know what lenders will lend on the property.
