Im leaning toward Point 2 Agent at this point but everyone tells me the free package is not worth it.
I was told that you cant use your own graphics and they only have designs for the big name franchise brokers.
I was wondering if there was anyone here who has the free package and how much control you actually get with it. Thanx.

If you only want a billboard on the web, then you can do what you want with a Point2 free site. Without the proper lead capture mechanisms, prospect management functions and drip email capability, your site will act like a billboard. It may get seen by a drive-by, and a few might even call or email, but it will never make you money. It's a viable marketing tool if you just want to show listing clients that they're on the web. I have some videos on using the Point2 features here. I do recommend Point2 as a rep, but am more into instruction on how to make a web site a lead generation tool.

Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. You not think so much about price but what service and features they offer. Most People want to see listings when they visit a real estae website so make sure there is some kind of share featreu that display lots of properties. Canada Real Estate

you get what you pay for is right! and what good is a site that cant be found? what good is a site that you can't control total SEO/SEF ....and more importantly what kind of leads are you going to really get when the majority of people out there can and know how to get the "real" all 100% MLS listings from your competitors sites? People are getting more and more tech savvy every day and once they realize your site doesn't give them 100% of the MLS buffet they will go somewhere else ....and sure you can "frame" an IDX solution but they are aggravating to most end users and they will still leave.....just my 2 cents

I have a P2 site and love it. I started off with the free on and have upgraded to the $49/mo one. It is DEFIANTLY worth the money. I was paying $40/mo just in hosting with my old site and it sucked.
P2 has great tools and an awesome stats generator. Check out my site. If you have questions, let me know

Joe, which of the features are you using at the $49/mo level?

My P2A standard site is farily optimized, fairly well linked and is producing leads. Sadly, I have not yet closed one transaction found over the internet. Close but no closings.
I think the syndication and prospect management features of the site are the best.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
