I had fun talking to him. He said they were the only publicly owned company, they had 20,000 agents, they advertised on all the big networks and most of the small ones, etc etc etc.
The important thing he said? 'Sure, a number of our leads are crap'
Some other important things he said:
When I asked why, if their company was so beneficial to Agents, they wouldn't take a referral when a lead closed:
'That would cost you more money!'
When I then asked if his company didn't want to make more money:
'We have an exclusive spot on msnbc.com! for only an additional $149 a month!...'
When I told him I wasn't interested in his company:
'That's fine, we don't need Agents, they need us!'
I then asked him why he had called me first and then spent 15 minutes trying to get my business, he said:
'.......'
That was a hilarious way to spend the last few minutes of my day.
