Most lenders have stopped taking CPA letters. There is a high amount of fraud that is/was going on so the more reputable lenders stopped accepting them.
Stated Income for that matter seems to be next on the chopping block...

Awesome! LOL! Anybody remember what happened to that website that made fun of the mortgage industry. They had pictures of like cardboard boxes and the slogan, "Fixer Upper" and something like 95% LTV. I can't remember the site's URL.

I love stated income loans for qualified individuals. It's a lot less paperwork and hassle for borrowers. Now if we can just get people to stop abusing the system the program would continue to be available.
